Hot movies is back! The aim of this new week is to give new meaning to all those times we’ve been interrupted when we’re in the middle of a film - and boy, do we hate it - by our partner, flatmate, mother or brother, and to turn the movies on their heads so we can enjoy them as an artistic experience that goes well beyond what each of their elements - cinema, artistic analysis, humour, music, drinks, laughter... - could offer us individually.

Tonight’s commentary is provided by El Maestro Joao, the seer and well-known media personality, particularly on social media - his Instagram account has more than 710,000 followers. Joao is a regular contributor to programmes such as "Saturday Deluxe", "Survivors" and “Secret Story Debate". As well as television, he also contributes to the "Anda Ya" radio show on Los 40 and hosts the "Chosen One” (El Elegido) podcast on the same station. Joao will be bringing all of his ability to connect with the public to the stalls of the Parque de la Bombilla to "take apart” an absolute inter-generational classic that we’ve all seen once or twice or a dozen times: Grease (Randal Kleiser, 1978) or, if you prefer, the big screen love affair between Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson.

The musical accompaniment will be provided by Lúa Gándara, a plastic artist who loves to slip in an unexpected song or two while keeping a close eye on the audience. Lúa is happy to acknowledge Galician street parties as one of her main influences.
