Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum

The Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum is extending its summer opening hours to give visitors more time to enjoy the temporary exhibitions Colonial Memory in the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collections and Rosario de Velasco. The new opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 9pm and Sundays from 10am to 7pm. The museum is closed on Mondays but these two exhibitions can also be visited free of charge on Saturdays from 9 to 11pm.

The opening hours for the permanent collection, the Carmen Thyssen Collection, the Robert Nava exhibition and the two Guest Works, “The Little Coal Girl” (La chiquita piconera) by Julio Romero de Torres’ (until 28 July) and The End (Two Prologues) by Dora García for CNIO Art, remain unchanged: Mondays, free of charge from 12 noon to 4pm, and Tuesday to Sunday, from 10am to 7pm.

A great way to round off a visit to the museum is to visit The Terraces, open from Thursday to Sunday.
