Hot movies is all about combining typical summer films and adding music, commentary and humour so that the audience can feel free to comment on the film out loud with their table companion. 

This evening, the commentators will be Ana Garriga and Carmen Urbita, better known perhaps as Las hijas de Felipe, authors of a wonderful podcast that revisits all the bling-bling of the 16th and 17th centuries and brings us bang up to date with historical gossip, Baroque dramas and forgotten lives, paying special attention to the nuns of the time. So there really wasn’t any argument: their film of choice simply had to be Pedro Almodóvar’s Dark Habits (Entre tinieblas), (1983). The convent of the “Humiliated Redeemers”, occupied by Chus Lampreave and Marisa Paredes, among other sisters, awaits your conscientious analysis…

The musical entertainment will be provided by photographer and artist Ochi Reyes who, under the alias of Richo Eyes, will get the girls dancing with her eclectic mix of music featuring female vocals.
