Juan Sanguino + Tacita de Rubí :Mick Jackson’s The Bodyguard (1992)

The Hot Movies sessions continue, the movie cycle that invites the public, as if they were in Bollywood, to laugh, make comments, applaud, condemn or defend with scandalous enthusiasm what they’re seeing in front of them, in what is a doff of the hat to Asia’s popular film culture.
Tonight, the on/off commentator who will reveal details that often go unnoticed in a film is Juan Sanguino, a writer and journalist for El País and Vanity Fair. Juan will be taking on no less than Mick Jackson’s The Bodyguard (1992). Spoiler alert! All we can say is that his life would never be the same again, so we invite you to analyse this love story between Rachel Marron, a pop diva threatened by an unknown stalker, and Frank Farmer, her bodyguard.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Tacita de Rubí. This session promises to be one that will invite you to probe every frame of the film with your heart and soul.
