An acoustic evening with Carla Bruni

Known throughout the world as the muse of top designers and photographers and a member of the exclusive group of super models in the 1990s, Carla Bruni’s career changed overnight when she released her first highly acclaimed album Quelqu'un m'a dit. Her soft, captivating voice and subtle melodies brought her unexpected worldwide success and propelled her to the very top of the music scene. She has released a number of critically acclaimed albums since then – No Promises (2007), Comme si de rien n'être (2008), Little French Songs (2013), French Touch (2017) and an eponymous album Carla Bruni (2020) –, all imbued with her unique poetic sensitivity.

Now she is bringing her characteristically velvety and sinuous voice to the Veranos de la Villa Festival where, accompanied by three musicians, she will offer an acoustic concert that will include some of her favourite songs from her previous albums, her biggest hits, some of her beloved Italian songs such as Il Cielo, Dolce Francia and Voglio l'amore, a number of classic standards (Moon River, Stand By Your Man) and she even has a few surprises up her sleeve in the form of some of her less predictable favourites.
