Lucía Beltrán
Flamenco doesn’t just flow through Lucía Beltrán’s veins, it gushes. A bohemian and incurable amateur, she began singing at the age of 8. Growing up in her hometown of Trigueros (Huelva), listening to her father play guitar and her grandfather sing, she was soon immersed in this wonderful world. Her passion comes from the cradle; her voice is very much her own and her unique "quejío", her anguished lament, makes Lucía one of the most promising figures on the current flamenco scene.
The winner of important awards for young flamenco singers, such as first prize at the La Unión International Festival del Cante de las Minas in 2022, and the youth prize at the 1st Antonio Mairena National Cante Jondo Competition, she stands out as one of the rising stars of this art form. At just 19, Lucía is already wowing flamenco aficionados and critics alike, and she will undoubtedly do the same to the audience at this flamenco concert at TATEL Madrid, organised in association with FACYRE.
