The short film genre allows us to explain what it is we want to say and how, with fewer risks. This is just what some of our residents have done; they’ve taken advantage of this format to gain confidence, try out their stories and showcase their talent. We’ll see some of them at the Festival, which will allow us to get to know the stories they’ve developed during their time with us a little better, stories that we’ll see on screen in the coming months.

You are welcome to join us in this activity where some of the short films made by the Residents of the Film Academy will be screened. Afterwards, there will be a colloquium and the short films selected for the 2023- 2024 edition of the Residency and Shooting (Residencias y Rueda) programmes will be read out.
